Sabena is a brand new Belgian band that makes dance music with worldly influences. They depart from the idea that Flemish pop music is mostly gray and “unworldly” and therefore not worthy of being an export product. Sabena will therefore return to the universal and primal meaning of music : escape from reality. Influenced by tribal Africa, where music with repetitive beats are played to get into a trance, and mixed with European electronics, you get the best of both worlds.
